Located in Udaipur, Tripura, Matabari is a sacred 16th-century temple dedicated to Goddess Tripura Sundari, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas.Built in the shape of a tortoise, the temple is famous for its unique architecture and the adjoining Kalyan Sagar lake, home to sacred turtles. It is a major pilgrimage site, especially during Diwali, attracting thousands of devotees from across India.
